The term “tithing” refers to paying or giving a tenth part of something (Usually Monetary Based), especially for the support of a religious establishment or organization.
The term Tithing is often used when religious folk give 10% of their earnings to their church. Most churches REQUIRE tithing as part of a membership. A Tithe is also what can make certain religions seem more cult-like.
